Discord admits its application is problematic, consuming user device RAM
Recently, Discord admitted that its application had problems and was actually consuming most of the RAM on the devices used by users. The application, which was created based on an Electron-based framework, is thought to be the main reason why this application can consume up to 4GB of RAM.

Not only Discord, similar applications such as Microsoft Teams are also based on Electron, so it’s not surprising that previously we saw that Microsoft wanted to optimize its flagship application for meeting purposes so that it doesn’t use up a lot of user resources.

In order to overcome this annoying problem, Discord immediately took the initiative to roll out the update by carrying out a number of tests in order to reduce memory usage on the Windows 11 operating system by carrying out a number of optimizations, including on the Electron used in the application.
“That’s right, we will implement a restart feature when Discord usage has reached 4GB,” as posted by Discord on Reddit. After Discord admits that the application has problems, what do you think about Discord’s speed, bro?
