Japanese Minecraft Player Creates Tokyo Metropolis in Game
Japanese Minecraft player – Even though it has been around since 2009, Minecraft is still one of the most popular games in the world to this day. That’s because this game presents a game where players can create many things by utilizing existing features, starting from weapons, houses, furniture, even cities of their own imagination.
And now there is a Minecraft player from Japan trying to create a metropolis from the city of Tokyo in the game by utilizing 3D data from the government. Wow, are you serious?!
Japanese Minecraft Player Creates Tokyo Metropolis in Game with 3D Data from Government
Based on the information obtained, a Minecraft player from Japan managed to create something truly extraordinary. He reconstructed the entire Tokyo metropolitan area in the sandbox game. The figure behind this ambitious project is Rikuma Mikuni who is a doctoral architecture student at Waseda University and a member of the Minecraft Cup committee.
What’s interesting is that Mikuni’s work doesn’t only cover 23 districts in central Tokyo. The western part of Tokyo or what is known as the Tama area is also present, even to the islands which are administratively still included in the Tokyo metropolis area.

In the presentation video, players can recognize various landmarks made in stunning detail, such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Station and MUFG Stadium. Not only that, this virtual version of Tokyo is also accompanied by natural areas such as Mount Takao and even reaches locations as far as Hachijō City.
You can see the results his work below this.
His Ambitions for the Future

The reconstruction process was made possible thanks to PLATEAU, a database containing 3D models developed by institutions in Japan. The government project aims to create a “digital twin” of Japanese cities through 3D models collected through aerial surveys and various other mapping techniques.
To be able to use it in this game, Mikuni developed a tool that is able to convert PLATEAU data into a format recognized by the game and the results are quite accurate. Since PLATEAU’s database covers all regions in Japan, Mikuni expressed his ambition to continue the project by turning various other regions in Japan into one virtual world in Minecraft.
For now, Mikuni’s Tokyo is still not available to the public, but he is considering the possibility of releasing the ambitious work.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
